Information on the purification
The treatment process is organic and is based on the action of aerobic bacteria, which feed on the organic content of the waste water in the entry. Systems, activated sludge are divided into:
Zone of aeration where theair is injected into the wastewater by different speakers of bubblesair purposes (patented ISEA) powered by a compressor to the EPDM membrane micro-perforated to keep the growth of bacteria.
Zone sedimentation tank, where the sludge flocs larger separate from the flow of theeffluent and are partially recycled in the section of the ventilation. Lsurface water is evacuated with hydraulic flow through the exhaust. The settling of the solids contained in the waste water from the zone of aeration takes place after they reach a special area of settling tothe inside ofthe unit.
These systems can be integrated with pre-or post-treatments to improve theoverall efficiency of the treatment, depending on the properties of the wastewater and the type of final destination systems, activated sludge are particularly suitable for the community of small to medium-sized, as they offer the following advantages:
the standard of quality of theeffluent is very high:
the properties of theeffluent constants; facilities accessible;
easy to manage and maintain;
low electricity consumption.
high adaptability to different types of terrains, even in difficult
low-rate production of excess sludge;
modularity of the elements of the system, the possibility of increasing the capacity;
lower transport costs due to the containerization of the modules;
the modules can be easily integrated;
reusable modules and ritrasportabili.
